Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage and Took No Responsibility
On July 23, 2023, I was a passenger on flight TK7516 with Anadolu Jet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, on the Istanbul-Antalya route. Due to their negligence, my luggage was mislabeled and sent to Lebanon instead of Antalya. It took a total of 12 days to locate and return my luggage, during which I couldn't find any support or assistance from the airline.
Moreover, during these 12 days, the airline took no responsibility for my lost belongings, did not offer any apology, and made no effort to compensate. Despite my repeated calls and attempts to communicate, all my efforts were in vain.
It is unacceptable that during my annual leave, a period I meticulously planned and budgeted for, the airline's mistake was compounded by their unwillingness to make amends.
For those considering flying with Turkish Airlines, be aware that you may be left to fend for yourself if things go wrong. Consider other airline options or try to avoid checking in luggage.
