During my journey with Turkish Airlines on January 15, 2024, flight number TK2715 from Kars to the new Istanbul Airport, my backpack was lost. Upon contacting the lost and found office, it was discovered after approximately 2 hours of investigation that my lost bag had been sent to Izmir with Pegasus Airlines. I was informed that I needed to pick up my bag from Istanbul Airport the next day. To retrieve this item, I would need to pay a fee of ₺400 and take a day off from my job. I am in a difficult situation here. Turkish Airlines is causing me inconvenience due to an issue stemming from their own mistake; it is resulting in both a loss of time and potential damage to my belongings. It has been observed that the systems regarding lost items are inadequate and no assistance is provided. My inconvenience needs to be addressed and my lost bag should be sent to me urgently; however, the staff's attention is insufficient and their approach is negative. Additionally, necessary attention and information were not provided by the flight attendants during the flight.
