Netflix Keeps Charging Me After I Canceled My Subscription
I canceled my Netflix Standard membership through the website in May because we had a baby and were no longer able to use the service. However, when I checked my payment history today, I discovered that the membership had not actually been canceled and that I had continued to be charged regularly for approximately four months.
The monthly membership fee of $4 continued to be charged to me for several months after the month in which I canceled the subscription, including the payment for that month. When I contacted customer service about this, they told me that the cancellation was not showing in their system, that even the charge made today could not be canceled, and that they could not issue refunds for the amounts charged over the past four months despite the fact that I had not watched anything during that entire period. I am also not allowed to remove my bank information from the system, which makes me concerned.
I have been financially harmed because I was charged for a service I did not use, even though I had submitted a cancellation request. I request that my cancellation request be recognized as valid and that my membership actually be terminated, that all amounts charged to my account for every billing period after my cancellation be fully refunded, and that my payment information be completely removed from the system. I kindly request that the necessary investigation be conducted and that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. I can be contacted at s*****@gmail.com or at 0532*****57.
