Turkish Airlines Forced to Check My Cabin Luggage Under False Pretenses

While waiting in line at the gate to board the plane, a staff member insisted on taking my cabin luggage to send it to the cargo hold. Despite my reluctance, I was convinced by the reasoning that it was mandatory and everyone's luggage would be taken. I specifically traveled with minimal items to avoid waiting for luggage at the exit, but now I will have to wait. I also mentioned that I had a car waiting for me at the exit and couldn't afford to lose any time, but the staff was not persuaded. Following this, the staff took a few more people's luggage, totaling six bags, and then stopped. While some passengers boarded with up to three bags, I was subjected to this inconvenience. Over 100 people were able to take their luggage into the cabin, but I was not. I am extremely angry right now and I do not accept this injustice. This is a huge disgrace. THY, you should review the instructions given to your staff. Shame on you.
