Turkish Airlines Flight Check-In Issues on Istanbul-Trabzon Route

On Friday, July 19th, we had a flight from Istanbul to Trabzon with the reservation code rlbbhw at 11:10 AM under the names y**** c*** and Hanim ***C****. We chose Turkish Airlines for a seamless and comfortable journey. Upon arriving at the airport, we encountered a system malfunction that prevented us from checking in at the machines. We were repeatedly redirected to different counters where the staff scolded us. Due to recent developments in our lives, we couldn't complete the check-in process the previous day. Considering that one of us is elderly and unwell, we might not have been able to manage this situation. We were informed that we could board the flight if there were available seats. The staff mentioned that they had oversold tickets and would notify us if there were any seats left. We experienced half an hour of stress, worrying about not being able to board the plane together with my sister Yasemin. Eventually, we were able to board the flight as there were available seats. Turkish Airlines caused us unnecessary stress and disrupted our planned trip. We are voicing our complaint through this platform.
