Turkish Airlines Flight Check-In Issue
On September 25th, during my Los Angeles to Istanbul flight, my flight suddenly disappeared from the app 3 hours and 10 minutes before check-in. I couldn't understand what the problem was, so I immediately called Turkish Airlines customer service to explain the situation and asked them to resolve it or complete the check-in process over the phone. Initially, the customer service representative said they couldn't find a flight under my name. After insisting, they found my flight. Then they told me, 'Sir, you missed your flight.' I was really frustrated because I knew I hadn't missed my flight, but I couldn't convince them for 10 minutes. They kept insisting that 'your flight has departed.' Then it occurred to me that the representative hadn't accounted for the time difference between America and Turkey. After reminding them of this and asking them to check again, they said, 'Okay, you haven't missed your flight.' They didn't even apologize and caused me significant stress for half an hour.
