Turkish Airlines Flight Change Issue and Compensation Request

Due to an operational change by Turkish Airlines, I was initially offered a free change option for my ticket. They informed me that the new ticket details would be sent via email and SMS. However, I did not receive any notification. When I called back, the customer representative told me that I had been given incorrect information.
Believing that my ticket was issued, I made a hotel reservation for my travel date. Later, they told me that I could not choose another location and asked me to cancel my ticket again. Because of their mistake, I was warned that there would be a deduction if I canceled my hotel reservation.
They suggested that I could get a refund, but if I booked a new ticket, I would have to pay at least three times the original price. I request that my issue be resolved as soon as possible and that my losses be compensated. A world-renowned brand like THY should not fall to this level.
