Amazon Web Services Charged My Card $1,200 Without Authorization

At around 5:00 a.m. on August 17, 2026, I discovered that a $1,200 charge had been made to my QNB Finansbank credit card by Amazon Web Services / Amazon Seattle without my knowledge or authorization. I have not made any purchase or subscribed to any service for this amount.

As soon as I noticed the transaction, I canceled my credit card and had it blocked for further use. I also initiated a dispute through my bank. Since my digital banking access is currently disabled, I am unable to obtain a screenshot of the transaction details. I am also having difficulty contacting Amazon directly because Amazon does not provide customer support in Turkish.

I request that Amazon and Amazon Web Services urgently investigate this unauthorized charge, refund the full $1,200 to my credit card, and provide me with a clear explanation of how this transaction occurred. I also expect to be informed of the findings of the investigation and the measures taken to prevent similar unauthorized charges from occurring again.
