I received information that Turkish Airlines flight TK2336 from Istanbul to Izmir on 04.11.2023 was canceled 4 hours before the flight. We had just arrived in Istanbul from Barcelona and were supposed to transfer to Izmir. The airport was chaotic with reports of 40 flights being canceled. Only 3 transfer desks were operational, leading to massive queues. We were directed from one line to another and eventually found a seat on a flight the next morning. They promised to accommodate us in a hotel overnight. Up to this point, it was manageable. However, the hotel they transferred us to was Eser Diamond in Çorlu, which is 1.5 hours away. I don't even know when we will arrive. If we travel a bit further, we would be in Greece. In 6 hours, we will be on the road again for the return trip. We are exhausted and disappointed with Turkish Airlines. You failed to resolve the issue effectively.
