Turkish Airlines Flight Cancellation and Unhelpful Staff

Our Tivat-Istanbul flight scheduled for 18:30 on 4.4.2024 was canceled without any prior notice. After waiting for hours, we were first told it was delayed, and then later informed it was canceled. The cancellation messages were sent long after the actual cancellation time. Since there were no other flights from Montenegro to Turkey on the same day, we had to stay an extra day. Even when the flight was canceled, we were not given proper information about what would happen next. We were taken to a hotel only at 23:00. We had arrived early for check-in and ended up waiting at the airport for about 10 hours for nothing. The airport closed after a certain time, and there was no place to buy food. Our flight was rescheduled for the next morning. However, when we tried to check in, online check-in was not possible. We started waiting at the airport from 06:00. There were no staff available for check-in, and the screen was not working. When I tried to take a photo of the screen, the staff said taking photos was prohibited without giving a reason, as they were just sitting and chatting instead of working. Their attitude was very rude. We waited for hours with no explanation. It was a very bad experience that did not befit Turkish Airlines. Nothing was as it should have been.
