Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight and Provided Poor Service

On April 16, 2024, at 10:05 AM, we learned that our TK1096 flight from Tivat to Istanbul Airport was canceled due to force majeure. We witnessed many flights taking off, including those not canceled. We wanted to travel to Istanbul Airport with another airline on the same day and requested a refund. A lady who claimed to be a station officer and spoke Turkish told us we would have to pay an additional 500€ per person. When we asked the company, we found out that this was not true. When we suggested taking a connecting flight, they said only four seats were available and there was nothing they could do. We were already a group of five, including a 1-year-old baby, and had booked four seats. In short, they constantly created problems. We had to change to the next flight from Podgorica Airport. We were transferred to a hotel in Podgorica with three children and were exhausted. Now, we are living in fear that tomorrow's flight will also be canceled. I hope the necessary actions are taken.
