Turkish Airlines Denied Me To Board Even Before 20 Minutes Before Departure
I purchased a Turkish Airlines ticket for a flight departing at 11:50 from Elazig. When the mayoral candidate from MHP arrived, the traffic was closed. I arrived at Elazig Airport at 11:27 and approached the check-in counter. They did not allow me to board. I explained my situation, but the staff did not process my ticket. Instead, they rescheduled my ticket for the next day with a penalty fee of ₺1550. The staff could have processed my ticket if they wanted to, but they chose not to and gave numerous excuses. I frequently travel between Ankara and Istanbul, and they do not inconvenience people up to 20 minutes before departure. They are forcing people into this situation. They could have checked me in online and let me board. The plane had not taken off yet, and there was still time. I want my situation to be addressed. It is not befitting for a large company like Turkish Airlines to act this way. I request the necessary actions to be taken. Do not tarnish your name with such trivial matters.
