Turkish Airlines Delayed My Flight, And As A Result, I Missed My Connection Flight
I purchased a ticket from THY for a flight from Antalya to Ordu with a layover. The flight was canceled 28 hours before departure. Luckily, I was awake at 2:30 AM and managed to find a seat on the same date. The flight was rescheduled to an Anadolu Jet flight an hour later. However, this flight, which was supposed to depart at 6:20, took off at 7:45. Consequently, I missed my connecting flight from Istanbul to Ordu. Upon arriving at Sabiha Gökçen, I went to the THY desk. The staff seemed to consider this situation normal. They had booked a ticket for a 16:00 flight from Istanbul Airport and provided a Havaist ticket. By this time, it was 8:30 AM. They even suggested canceling or postponing the ticket as if it was a joke. I was already halfway through my journey, so postponing was not an option. There was no alternative solution or empathy from the staff. Keep up the good work, world-class brand. I'm writing this from a Havaist bus, hoping to reach Ordu before the intercity bus does.
