Turkish Airlines Customer Service Issue
On 11/01/2024, I contacted Turkish Airlines to inquire about converting or refunding my ticket dated 06/02. However, I received no assistance and was scolded by the staff. When I mentioned that I am a student and had already paid a lot for the ticket, they responded dismissively, saying 'these are the features of the package you purchased, there's nothing I can do.' I was told that if I accepted a $210 payment (+ ticket price difference), the ticket could be converted. Reluctantly, on 05/02, I requested a refund for the ticket, and was informed that the refund for the ₺8000 ticket would be approximately ₺750. As a 22-year-old student saving up for an Erasmus trip, I was scolded over the phone for something I didn't know, and received no help. I had to choose this airline because no other company had direct flights. Although I am forced to buy tickets from here again, I will never purchase from this airline again. Their unhelpful and dismissive responses to my questions, along with their tired attitudes, will not satisfy any customer. Customer satisfaction is zero. Not recommended at all.
