I am writing this letter to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with the service I received during my recent attempt to travel with Turkish Airlines. On August 27, 2023, I had a confirmed reservation for flight TK1919 from Istanbul to Geneva. However, I was unexpectedly placed on a waiting list. This was completely unexpected and unacceptable, especially considering I had a confirmed reservation. I believe it is the responsibility of Turkish Airlines to ensure that all passengers with confirmed reservations board their flights without any issues.
Additionally, as a result, I was not allowed to board the plane, leaving me stranded at the airport and causing significant disruption to my travel plans. This situation not only resulted in a loss of time and money but also caused unnecessary stress and disappointment.
To rectify this situation, I am requesting that Turkish Airlines immediately process the compensation payment to my account as promised. I hope Turkish Airlines will take the necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future and find a timely solution to this matter.
