Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight Due to Overbooking but Didn’t Compensate It
On 26.10.2023, due to overbooking on my Turkish Airlines Adana-Istanbul flight, they offered me a later flight and a small compensation. I accepted the offer. They suggested that I open a request on the THY website to have the compensation deposited into my account, which I did immediately. However, since October, none of my requests have been resolved. In my latest request, I mentioned that I had already opened three previous requests about not receiving my compensation, but none were resolved. The response to my latest request was dismissive, stating that my previous requests would be addressed.
In summary, if you make an offer as a company, please ensure that the process is completed after the offer is accepted.
