Turkish Airlines Anadolu Jet Overbooking Issues
Due to overbooking, I couldn't board my Turkish Airlines Anadolu Jet flight, and the alternative flight offered was for the next day. Since I had to fly that day, I ended up purchasing a ticket from Pegasus for ₺10,000 more than the original flight. Additionally, I arrived at the airport at 8 AM and finally boarded a flight at 4 PM. During this time, I had to spend money on food. If I had accepted the next day's flight, I would have received €400 in compensation, along with hotel accommodation, transfer, and meals. Since I had to come up with a solution myself, I requested at least the reimbursement for the meal I had while waiting at the airport. However, Anadolu Jet staff ignored the issue and did not provide any assistance. I demand compensation for my losses. Throughout this experience, I noticed that similar incidents frequently occur, and people's grievances are not addressed. Especially if you don't speak Turkish, you receive no help and are handed a piece of paper without any explanation, leaving you to fend for yourself.
