THY Didn't Help Me with Name Change for the Ticket I Bought Before Marriage
About 6 months before my flight, I purchased a ticket from the THY website for an overseas honeymoon trip. During the visa application process, I had to buy the ticket in advance with my maiden name as they would request the flight ticket. My flight was transferred to Jet. I couldn't complete the check-in process through the mobile app. On the day of my departure, they informed me at the airport that they couldn't change the surname and that it might cause problems abroad. I sent an email and they replied that they couldn't take any responsibility while I was abroad and offered to refund my ticket if I wanted. The new ticket was twice the price, so I didn't accept it. I was under full stress during my trip. Despite the package including in-flight catering, no catering was provided. I have never experienced such a bad flight. It was a complete disappointment.
