Significant Financial Loss Due to Lack of Information at Turkish Airlines Ticket Counter

My spouse and I had to cancel our Istanbul-London flight tickets (ticket numbers 2352233697833 and 2352233697835) at the airport due to family reasons. However, the ticketing agent did not inform us that we could have put our tickets on hold instead of canceling them, resulting in a loss of approximately 55,000 TL. The agent only mentioned this option after canceling our tickets when answering another customer’s inquiry.

When I contacted Turkish Airlines customer service, they informed me that nothing could be done after the tickets were canceled. This has caused us a significant loss and inconvenience.
