Lost Luggage Twice During Turkish Airlines Transit Flights
On August 7, 2024, after our Adana-Istanbul-Baku transit flight, we arrived in Baku in the morning, but our luggage didn’t make it. Despite waiting until the following evening, the luggage wasn’t delivered. When I called, they told me the bags had arrived at the airport. I had to take a taxi to the airport, pick up the luggage myself, and return by taxi. Just as we resolved that issue, on August 11, 2024, during our return Baku-Istanbul-Adana transit flight, we arrived in Adana, and again, the luggage was missing. We came home empty-handed. This wasn’t our first issue—previously, on flights with Turkish Airlines to Greece, our perfectly clean suitcases arrived with the corners completely broken and cracked. I’m not concerned about the compensation; it’s just frustrating. The flight attendants may give a great impression, but the unseen services we experience are highly problematic. You can check my name for the lost luggage or baggage report.
