Issue with Turkish Airlines' New Policy on Connecting Baggage Between Flights

I recently purchased separate domestic and international flight tickets from THY and wanted to connect my baggage between these flights. This service, which was always available, has been discontinued as of August 24, 2023. There is no information about this change anywhere, but even though we were able to get the boarding documents for the next flight at Ankara Esenboga Airport, they did not connect our baggage.
As a member of Star Alliance, THY is supposed to offer this service for all flights operated by member airlines, but now they refuse to provide it even within their own flights.
Due to this, my son, who was traveling alone, mistakenly took the wrong baggage from the domestic flight and checked it in for the international flight. Who knows how many days it will take for his own baggage to arrive, and how we will return the baggage that belongs to someone else!
