I Missed Turkish Airlines Bishkek Flight Due to Incorrect Information

On 05/07/2024, I arrived at Istanbul Airport around 17:00 for my 20:15 flight to Bishkek. I quickly received my ticket without much waiting. The boarding time for the Turkish Airlines Bishkek flight, as shown in the attached photo, was 19:15. The ticket did not specify the boarding gate. While checking the flight information screen, I suddenly saw that the gate for the Bishkek flight was closed. I rushed to gate A10 and asked a Turkish Airlines staff member what to do. They directed me to gate A, but I realized that I was given incorrect information after searching for the gate on the lower floor. While looking for another staff member, an employee from another airline advised me to go to the Turkish Airlines ticket assistance service. Due to the incorrect directions, I missed my flight. If the staff had given me the correct information initially, I might not have missed the flight. At the counter, I showed my ticket to the staff, who informed me that I could not board the flight and offered me a seat on the 23:55 flight for an additional ₺37,000. For the 04:00 flight, I was told I needed to pay ₺23,000. Many people like me had to pay these high prices for new tickets. However, I could not afford these fees. If Turkish Airlines prepared their tickets more clearly, no one would suffer like I did. I had purchased my flight ticket about a year in advance and bought a $620 tour. I work under challenging conditions in a prison, and getting leave was very difficult. My already poor mental state deteriorated further. I suffered significant financial and emotional losses. I don't frequently fly internationally. The ticket should clearly state the gate closing time and boarding time. I was late due to the gate closing time at Istanbul Airport, while there was a Bishkek flight at the same time from Sabiha Gökçen Airport. While I was discussing with the Turkish Airlines representative, passengers were still boarding that flight. In short, the boarding time on the ticket, as shown in the attached photo, is misleading. As a result, I couldn't go to Bishkek, and my return flight ticket was also wasted. I was told that a partial refund would be made for my Turkish Airlines ticket, but I did not sign any document, nor was any signed or unsigned document delivered to me. I request a decision to be made regarding my financial and emotional losses due to the tour fee and the Bishkek round-trip. I demand compensation for my grievances.
