I Had Severe Inconvenience As a Result of False Flight Information by Turkish Airlines
On July 23rd, I purchased a ticket and completed the flight check-in process. I even took a screenshot of the boarding pass, which clearly stated that the flight would depart at 23:30 on July 23rd. Naturally, I assumed the flight would leave at 23:30 that night. My hopes were dashed, however, when I received SMS notifications of flight delays. I called the customer service center on Sunday morning, confused and frustrated, only to learn that the flight had actually taken off on Saturday night after midnight, as the date changed to July 23rd after 00:00. The boarding time on the airline's boarding pass was 23:30 on July 22nd, but the actual departure time was 00:15 on July 23rd. This misunderstanding caused considerable consternation for me and others who relied on the information provided. Despite the numerous rescheduling attempts, my ticket was not refunded. Turkish Airlines' erroneous writing cost me dearly, as I needed to return to Istanbul urgently and was left in a distressing situation. I had no leave and was in a difficult situation. I had no choice but to purchase another ticket at a significant cost. My experience with Turkish Airlines' false flight information has been disheartening and financially draining.
