I Experienced Inconvenience Due To the Cancellation of the Flight TK2860 of Turkish Airlines

Major inconvenience caused by Turkish Airlines (THY): Our Istanbul-Isparta flight TK2860 scheduled to depart from Istanbul Airport at 23:55 on 01.01.2024 was canceled half an hour before departure due to wind issues. Initially, we were informed that there might be a flight to Antalya and were kept waiting. After a long wait, we were told that this was also not possible, and the other available night flight to Antalya was already full. We were offered ticket changes or cancellations and some refreshments, but no clear information was provided about where or how the refreshments would be served. We found out on our own that the refreshments would be at Pidem, but there was no place to sit there. Since we did not accept standing, no alternative place was shown. Later, a THY official tried to line us up like sheep to count the number of pide pieces. Due to this situation, I did not accept the refreshments. Through our own research, we found out that the earliest flight close to Isparta was to Denizli at 7:45 AM on January 2, and we transferred our ticket to this flight. However, due to the cancellation, we had to wait at the airport until morning. I missed my meeting and work. The morning flight to Denizli departed with a delay of almost half an hour and circled over Denizli for nearly 2 hours due to fog before landing. Our inconvenience kept increasing; we could only land at the airport at 10:00 AM. The only option to find a vehicle from the airport to Isparta was to take a taxi, and after negotiating, we traveled approximately 110 km by taxi. By the time we reached Isparta, it was 2 PM, and unfortunately, all our plans were disrupted. In response to my feedback to THY about this issue, they said they would cover the taxi expenses but required an invoice. How could I get an invoice from a taxi driver I negotiated with? I am asking for compensation for my financial loss and time wasted, as there is nothing they can do to compensate for the emotional distress. Due to these issues, I request the necessary compensation from THY as soon as possible; otherwise, I will pursue legal action.
