On 30.10.2023 at 04:15, I purchased two tickets for the THY Hatay-Istanbul flight and selected our seats. There was roadwork on the way to Hatay Airport. Neither the airline nor the airport management provided any warnings about this, either when purchasing the tickets or via message. We faced significant difficulties traveling through Hatay plains to reach the airport. We took the Aktas road, which was in terrible condition, causing damage to our vehicle and many others. Upon arriving at the airport about 15 minutes before the flight, despite explaining the situation and having seat selections, my mother and nephew were not allowed to board the plane, along with several other passengers. Despite all our explanations and the lack of any warning messages from the airline, our night was ruined, our vehicle was damaged, we missed our flight, and we lost the money spent on the tickets. The primary cause of our distress is THY. We received no warnings or notifications and we demand a refund for our flight tickets.
