I purchased a Wizz Air flight ticket from Budapest to Istanbul for March 21, 2026 through Trip.com. Later, I received a notification that the flight time had been changed. Since this change disrupted my travel plans, I canceled the ticket for free through Trip.com. However, several days have passed since the cancellation, and my refund has still not been credited to my account.
Although $412 was charged to my credit card, the refund amount shown in my Trip.com account appears to be only $390. In other words, not only is my refund delayed, but it also does not seem like the full amount will be returned. When I contacted Trip.com customer service, I was told that the refund would be processed within a few days. However, as of today—the fourth day—no refund has been issued to my account, and I have not received any clear explanation regarding the missing amount.
Since this cancellation was due to a flight schedule change, I request that the full amount I paid be refunded to my card without any deductions as soon as possible, and that the discrepancy in the refund amount be clearly explained.
