I booked a Wizz Air flight through Trip.com for March 26-30, with a paid cancellation option. Despite requesting a cancellation, Wizz Air has refused to issue my refund. In January, I received a message stating that my March 30 return flight to the UK had been rescheduled. I had no choice but to accept this change as a delay. However, when my visa was denied, I attempted to cancel the flight completely, only to be told that because I had already accepted one change, I was no longer eligible for a refund.
Instead, they offered me just ₺531 as compensation, which is completely unreasonable. It has been over a month, and the issue remains unresolved. Both Trip.com and Wizz Air keep passing responsibility to each other, leaving me with no proper customer service support. I paid for a ticket with a cancellation option, yet I am being denied a full refund. Furthermore, the airline made the initial change, which was not clearly communicated as affecting my future cancellation rights. Had I known this, I would never have agreed.
I demand a full refund for my canceled flight and expect proper customer service from both Trip.com and Wizz Air. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will escalate my complaint to consumer rights authorities.
