On July 8, 2025, I was attempting to check in for my connecting flight from Tokyo to Istanbul when I was shocked to discover that Trip.com had canceled my ticket without informing me. I was left stranded at the airport, with no prior email, message, or app notification about the cancellation.

This unexpected and unauthorized cancellation caused me immense stress and forced me to purchase a last-minute replacement ticket at a significantly higher price just to get home. Not only did I suffer a major financial loss, but the entire situation was emotionally draining and logistically chaotic.

To make matters worse, Trip.com’s customer support team was completely unhelpful. I reached out multiple times, only to be brushed off with vague responses and no accountability. Despite clearly documenting my case and losses, they refused to provide any meaningful resolution.

I chose Trip.com thinking it was a reliable platform for booking affordable travel. But this experience has shattered my trust. I demand that Trip.com take full responsibility for canceling my ticket without notice and compensate me for the financial damage I incurred due to their negligence.
