Toyota Left Me Without My Corolla Cross for Over a Month
I purchased my Toyota Corolla Cross at the end of December 2022. On the morning of May 12, 2025, the vehicle suddenly wouldn’t start. The authorized Toyota service center informed me that the battery was completely discharged. However, they told me the system didn’t allow them to replace it, so they recharged the battery and returned the car. Two days later, the same issue occurred again. This time, I demanded a battery replacement, and they installed a brand new one. Yet again, after only a few days, the car failed to start. Since then, the car has been in the service center for over a month, and they still haven’t identified the root cause of the issue. My vehicle has only 25,000 km on it, and such serious and repeated failures are completely unacceptable. Finally, the service informed me that the vehicle’s ECU (computer brain) needs to be replaced, but the part won’t arrive until the end of July. To make matters worse, I was told that Turkey is not covered for immediate part replacements under Toyota’s system, which is absurd and completely unacceptable for a global brand like Toyota. I have been without my vehicle for over a month. Toyota left me stranded. I demand an immediate and permanent solution, the repair of my vehicle without further delay, and proper compensation for the inconvenience and loss of use I have suffered.
