The Body Shop's "White Musk" Fiasco

On May 29, 2024, I placed a ₺2,099 order for the White Musk EDP (d-98110) from The Body Shop, lured by their 1+1 offer and free makeup bag promotion for orders over ₺1,500. However, when my delivery arrived today, it contained only one perfume – no free gift or bonus item as promised.
When I called customer service, they insisted I return the order for a refund since the promotion had ended, even though I lacked sufficient credit limit for the full amount. Their response? "Sorry, there's nothing we can do." In reality, they could easily revise their system error, correct order #838TQ387U, and send the missing perfume and makeup bag. But instead, they'd rather hold my money hostage throughout the refund process.
Now I'm stuck without the products I paid for or the promotional gifts for nearly 15 days while waiting for my bank refund. This "system error" excuse has become a convenient cop-out for e-commerce retailers to sidestep accountability. Who will compensate me for this loss and disappointment?
