Telegram Account Hacked, Sending Sexual and Abusive Messages Without My Permission

I live in India, and my Telegram account is registered with the phone number +91 74060038**. I am reporting that my account has been hacked and is being used by an unauthorised person without my knowledge or consent.

On 4 November 2026, I discovered that my account had been compromised when I noticed that sexual and abusive messages were being sent to my contacts through my Telegram account. I want to make it clear that I did not write, send, or authorise any of these messages. As a result, my family members, relatives, and other contacts mistakenly believe that I am responsible for sending them, causing me serious embarrassment, reputational damage, and emotional distress.

I normally use Telegram on my Motorola Moto G96 5G smartphone running Android 13.2. However, on 4 November 2026, I noticed an unfamiliar active session in the Devices section, identified as an HP ProBook 450 G8 Notebook PC connecting from Germany. I do not own or recognise this device. On a subsequent occasion, I discovered another unauthorised login from Dublin, Ireland, using Telegram Desktop version 7.1.3. Neither the devices nor the locations are associated with me, confirming that an unknown person has gained access to my account.

I immediately tried to terminate these suspicious sessions through Settings > Privacy and Security > Devices. However, whenever I attempt to remove the unauthorised devices, Telegram displays the warning "Try again in a few hours" and prevents me from terminating the sessions. Consequently, I remain unable to regain control of my account or stop the hacker from continuing to send messages in my name.

I have screenshots documenting these suspicious login sessions and can provide them as evidence if required. I have also attempted to contact Telegram Support to resolve this security issue, but I have not received any response so far. Meanwhile, the unauthorised activity continues, further damaging my reputation and causing considerable distress.

I urgently request that Telegram investigate this security breach and take immediate action to permanently terminate all unauthorised sessions, including the HP ProBook 450 G8 session originating from Germany, the Telegram Desktop 7.1.3 session originating from Dublin, Ireland, and any other suspicious sessions connected to my account. I also request that my account be secured and access restricted to me alone, so that the hacker can no longer send messages or perform any actions in my name.

Furthermore, I ask Telegram to investigate the sexual and abusive messages sent without my knowledge or consent and remove them wherever possible. Finally, I request written confirmation explaining what measures have been taken to restore and secure my account, prevent further unauthorised access, and protect my account from similar attacks in the future.
