SunExpress Refused Help After My Suitcase Arrived Broken

After the SunExpress İzmir–Adana flight on January 27, 2026, when we landed at Çukurova Airport, many passengers’ luggage arrived damaged, broken, and soaked with water. The suitcase I had purchased in İzmir on the same day, January 27, was also broken. When I got home, I filed a damage report. However, SunExpress stated that because I did not file an official damage report at the airport, they cannot assist me. We purchase airline tickets at extremely high prices, and no company or individual has the right to provide service in this manner. Despite paying high fares, our luggage is thrown around by staff and ends up damaged and broken. I can honestly say that on that evening, nearly half of the passengers had broken luggage. This is a clear lack of respect for people and for customers.
