On June 22, 2024, I was on a Sunexpress flight from Düsseldorf to İzmir at 15:05, and we were kept on the plane for 3 hours. The flight departed without our luggage, and we arrived in İzmir without them. Aside from a few apologies from the cabin crew, the airline made no further communication about this issue.
The luggage arrived in İzmir two days later. I rushed to the airport to pick it up, only to discover that my new Briggs & Riley suitcase, which I had bought in April and was using for the first time, had been damaged. I filed a damage report (Sun-09002481) for this issue.
Three weeks later, I received a response stating that the airline is not responsible for the damage. I am extremely surprised by Sunexpress's poor service, especially since I have flown with them several times this year. I'm requesting compensation for the damage to my suitcase.
