SunExpress Online Check-in Error and Poor Customer Service at Milan Malpensa Airport
On August 29, 2024, I had a direct flight from Milan Malpensa to Izmir, but despite hours of trying, I couldn’t complete the online check-in due to constant site errors, both on the app and the website. When we arrived at the airport, we saw other passengers experiencing the same issue and got in line. Instead of helping, the SunExpress staff at the desk treated a group of elderly passengers poorly, making them run around the massive airport for just 5 Euros. This ruined the end of my family vacation. After the flight, I contacted customer service and was told to submit feedback online. Guess what? After writing everything and hitting send, it wouldn’t go through. I even tried live chat, but got no response. Due to their terrible online system, I’m requesting a refund for the 15 Euro fee we were charged. I leave the compensation for the bad experience my family and I endured to the discretion of the appropriate authority.
