SunExpress Charged Excessive Pet Fees for Munich-Antalya Flight, Seeking Refund
I flew with SunExpress from Munich to Antalya and informed the airline via WhatsApp beforehand that I would be traveling with my 4.8 kg dog. I was directed to a Turkish phone number, but despite numerous attempts, I couldn’t reach anyone. At the Munich airport, I was charged an excessive €120 one-way for my pet, far higher than expected.
I currently hold a return ticket from Antalya to Frankfurt and worry I will be charged the same excessive fee again. Last year, on my Antalya-Vienna flight, I also faced unreasonably high pet fees, and the staff in Antalya were extremely rude to customers.
I request a refund for the overcharged fee and a fair rate for my pet on the return flight. This treatment and inconsistency are unacceptable, and I urge SunExpress to address this promptly.
