SunExpress Airlines 14-Hour Delay and No Compensation



On June 29, 2024, our SunExpress flight XQ 783 from Düsseldorf to Adana, scheduled for 8:50 PM, took an unexpected turn. Instead of departing from Düsseldorf Airport, we were transported to Münster. We were told the flight would depart from there at 11:00 PM. Upon arrival in Münster, our luggage was taken, but we couldn't clear passport control. Then, we were informed that the flight was postponed until 7:00 AM the next morning. No hotel accommodations or meals were provided. As morning came, the flight was further delayed to 8:00 AM, then 9:40 AM, and finally 10:50 AM. This ordeal lasted over 14 hours, causing significant inconvenience and exhaustion. There must be a legal solution for the distress we experienced.
