SunExpress XQ714 Flight Delay and Lost Luggage Complaint
On July 23, 2024, we were booked on SunExpress flight XQ714 from Ankara to Munich, scheduled to depart at 08:00 AM and arrive at 10:10 AM. After spending the entire night preparing and going without sleep, we arrived at the airport only to learn that our 8 AM flight was rescheduled to 17:45 PM, and later pushed back to 19:00 PM. While on the plane, we were informed that we would be further delayed because they were offloading luggage from passengers who didn't show up. We finally took off around 20:05 PM.
The main issue started after landing, where we waited for 1.5 hours only to be told by an airport staff member that our luggage had been left behind in Ankara. We were given no paperwork, and no one could tell us when or where our luggage would be delivered. My child, who is battling cancer, has essential medication in one of the missing suitcases, and both our bags are still unaccounted for. No one answers the phones provided, no one responds on WhatsApp, and customer service is unreachable. The system only directs us to try again with the same unhelpful link.
