I only logged into Spotify through my iPhone using the free option. I did not choose any paid subscription, did not approve any plan, and most importantly, I never entered my card details. Despite this, I discovered today that $47 was charged from my Garanti Bank account without my knowledge or consent. There is also a strong possibility that similar charges were made in previous months, but since I just noticed it, I am currently reviewing my past transactions in detail.
I have never subscribed to Spotify’s paid services, so I do not accept any charges being made from my account without my knowledge or approval. I have never contacted Spotify via email or through the app, nor have I created any support requests. The thought that money may have been withdrawn from my account for the past 4–5 months without my permission is extremely disturbing both financially and emotionally.
I demand that Spotify fully refund all amounts that were charged from my Garanti Bank account without my consent. Additionally, if there is any subscription or payment authorization created under my name, I request that it be immediately canceled and that no further unauthorized transactions be made through my account. Charging money without user knowledge or approval is completely unacceptable, and I expect an urgent explanation and resolution.
