Smallpdf Charges Card During Free Trial Without Clear Consent

On January 8, 2026, I started the Smallpdf Pro free trial. Despite using a free trial, I noticed that $15 was charged to my Ziraat Bank debit card on the same day at 9:58 p.m. I do not recall clearly approving this amount on any confirmation screen; on the contrary, I only intended to use the free trial.

This transaction is clearly visible in my account activity, and I have the receipts as proof. Nevertheless, the system appears to have charged my card without my knowledge or explicit consent. I do not accept Smallpdf charging my card directly under the pretext of a free trial.

I request that the full amount be refunded to my card as soon as possible. I also ask that this membership and any potential subscription renewals be canceled. Otherwise, I will be forced to exercise my legal rights.
