Smallpdf Free Trial Turned Into an Unauthorized $18 Charge

I signed up for Smallpdf to use it as a free trial. Even though I did not see any clear information stating that I would be charged, on November 15, 2025, $18 was withdrawn from my Akbank account without my permission. I trusted the “free trial” label, but being charged a monthly subscription fee without my knowledge or consent has caused me serious inconvenience.

As soon as I noticed the charge, I requested a cancellation and a refund through Smallpdf, but so far the issue has not been addressed and I have not received any response. No refund was issued, and no explanation was provided.

I request that this $18 charge—taken under the label of a free trial—be canceled, refunded to my account, and that my subscription be fully terminated.
