I bought a pair of Skechers shoes just two months ago, and already, the inner lining is tearing apart. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, yet when I submitted the shoes for inspection through the store where I purchased them, my claim was rejected, with Skechers insisting there was no defect.
This response is unacceptable and has severely damaged my trust in the Skechers brand. A company that prides itself on quality and customer satisfaction should not ignore such obvious product flaws. I ask Skechers: How could a customer possibly rip the lining like this without using scissors or a sharp tool? The photos speak for themselves.
I will be escalating this issue to the consumer arbitration board under consumer protection laws. Skechers must take responsibility for its defective products and properly honor warranty claims. I expect an urgent resolution to this matter.
