I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes on 02/02/2025, and on Monday, 19/05/2025, I noticed a crack on the sole. When I took the shoe off to inspect it more closely, I saw that it was also torn on the inside and the inner sole had started to fall apart. I had only worn these shoes for four months, just twice a week, and I don't work in any physically demanding job. Considering I paid ₺6,199, I was genuinely shocked at how poorly the shoes held up under such light use. Without wasting any time, I went to the Skechers store on 20/05/2025 to report the issue and requested a replacement. The staff told me they couldn’t do anything and would need to send the shoes for inspection. Even the store employee initiating the inspection process agreed that this kind of wear in four months wasn’t normal, saying, “You’re right, I would also request a replacement.” However, on 27/05/2025, I received an SMS from the store stating, “Dear customer, no manufacturing defect was found in your product reviewed under request number 15-1924. Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill your request.” According to Skechers, it's apparently normal for a ₺6,199 shoe to crack, tear, and fall apart in just four months. I only asked for a replacement—not even a refund—yet I was left to deal with the issue alone. I kindly request the necessary action to be taken.
