Five months ago, I purchased a pair of Skechers Arch Fit shoes from the Maltepe Skechers store. About three months ago, the inner lining tore, and then about a month ago, the outer part also developed a tear. I used the shoes only for daily wear, with no excessive strain or misuse involved.
I submitted a return request through the store, but it was rejected, stating that there was no manufacturing defect. The product, inspected under request number 11-6792, was only reported as “available for pickup” at the store, with no replacement approved. However, when I purchased the shoes, I was explicitly told that returns could be made within two years, and it’s unacceptable for the product to wear out this quickly.
I am requesting either a refund or replacement of the product. Paying a premium price for a product that deteriorates in such a short time — without any offered solution — is extremely disappointing.
