On September 4, 2024, I ordered a pair of Skechers Max Protect size 42 shoes (Order No. 2182444) through the Skechers mobile app as a gift for my husband. Although we’ve been loyal customers—having purchased five other Skechers shoes before—this pair seriously disappointed us.
Less than six months after light to moderate use, the mesh fabric near the toe area began to deform and tear, especially around the flex points where the shoe bends during walking. This kind of damage in such a short time is completely unacceptable for a premium-priced product.
I submitted the product for inspection, expecting Skechers to take responsibility. However, the company responded saying there was no manufacturing defect, which I strongly disagree with. I’ve never encountered such an issue with their shoes before, and it’s frustrating to see their lack of accountability now.
I’m officially challenging the outcome of the inspection. Skechers should stand behind the quality they promise. I demand either a full refund based on the current market price or a replacement pair. This experience has made me reconsider purchasing from Skechers again unless they resolve this quickly and fairly.
