On March 15, 2025, I purchased a pair of Skechers Burst 2.0 men’s summer shoes from the Kayaşehir SuperStep store in Istanbul. After only about 45 days of use, I started noticing two major problems. First, the sole is extremely slippery, making it difficult to walk safely even on flat indoor surfaces. It feels as if the sole has the texture of soap, and I constantly worry about slipping. Second, in hot weather, the insole heats up excessively, which causes significant discomfort and makes it nearly impossible to wear for longer periods.
Despite there being no visible deformation, tears, or other physical damage, these performance issues persisted throughout the entire time I wore them. On August 15, 2025, I sent the shoes for inspection through the Eren Ayakkabı store where I purchased them. Shortly after, I received a message stating only that there was “no manufacturing defect,” with no further explanation or offered solution.
I have been buying shoes from Skechers for over 10 years, and this is the first time I have experienced such an issue. I find it unacceptable that a shoe with such a short usage period would create these persistent problems while still being dismissed under warranty.
I am formally requesting a replacement pair or another fair resolution to address my grievance. I expect Skechers to stand behind their product and provide proper customer support.
