I purchased the Skechers D’LITES – Vintage Vision sneakers on November 9, 2024, from the Samsun Piazza store, trusting the brand’s reputation. However, in just a few short months—with regular and proper use—the sole began to separate from the leather side panel. This level of wear and tear in such a brief period is unacceptable for a global brand that claims durability.
What’s even more disappointing than the product failure has been Skechers’ dismissive attitude toward my complaint. I submitted the shoes for inspection not once, but three separate times. Each time, I received the same generic response: “No manufacturing defect found.” These messages felt automatic and impersonal. I also emailed Skechers and received no reply. I called customer service multiple times and was told, “We’ve noted your issue,” with no follow-up or resolution.
To add insult to injury, I just received a final message saying:
“If the product is not picked up within 30 days, it will be destroyed.”
So not only are they refusing to acknowledge the issue, but they’re also threatening to dispose of my shoes.
I feel treated not like a valued customer, but like a burden. As someone who works in the retail sector and understands product quality, I can confidently say this is a manufacturing defect—not user error. The leather and sole separation clearly indicate a flaw in production.
