I purchased my 2024 model MG HS Luxury as a brand-new vehicle, and although the car has only reached 16,000 kilometers, the stitching on the driver’s seat has already started coming apart. We noticed the issue approximately one week ago, and I am extremely disappointed to experience such an interior trim problem in a vehicle that is still so new and relatively low mileage.

I have been using the vehicle for less than two years, and during this time I have not subjected it to any harsh or unusual conditions beyond normal daily driving. Despite this careful use, the stitching on the driver’s seat has started failing, which seriously concerns me regarding the material and workmanship quality of the vehicle’s interior components.

At this stage, I have not yet contacted the authorized service center or customer support. However, I strongly believe that this issue is not caused by user error, but rather by a manufacturing or material defect.

I request that the stitching problem on the driver’s seat be inspected under warranty coverage and that the seat either be replaced free of charge or professionally repaired under warranty in a way that will permanently prevent the issue from happening again. I also request that the overall interior trim and upholstery quality of the vehicle be checked to ensure that similar problems do not continue to occur in the future.
