On July 25, 2025, I purchased the Skechers Max Protect model shoes. Although I bought the shoes about three months ago and have worn them only 7–8 times, within just one month they started to develop a bad odor and the inner lining began tearing. Experiencing such issues in such a short time clearly shows that the product is made from poor-quality materials.
I requested an exchange, who forwarded the issue to Skechers. However, I was unable to receive clear information from customer service. Koray Spor refused to share the form number they sent to Skechers, saying only “we’ll update you,” which dragged the process out unnecessarily. Skechers also did not provide any meaningful assistance. After 30 days, my shoes were returned to me with the statement that no factory defect was found and that no exchange would be made. Yet, the product is under warranty, and the issues I experienced should have been evaluated accordingly.
It’s unacceptable that a product I paid around $133 for developed such problems in a short time. I am requesting that my shoes be replaced under warranty. I also expect Skechers and Koray Spor to prioritize customer satisfaction and resolve my grievance. Finally, I want to note that I will not recommend a company that fails to care about customer satisfaction.
