I recently purchased an air conditioner from Samsung. At the time of purchase, the seller assured us that installation would be completed within a week at most. However, after delivery, when we requested an installation appointment, we were told it would take over three weeks.
Given this approach and business practice, it's highly likely that the process will be further delayed beyond the three-week mark. What's the point of buying a product for the hot summer months if we can't even use it? It's worth noting that with other brands, installation of any appliance has never taken more than two business days.
This being my first Samsung appliance purchase, experiencing such issues is pushing me towards an immediate return. Even the customer service's attitude suggests there's nothing they can do, implying that returning the product is my decision to make. Is this how Samsung treats its customers?
Why should we, as customers, be penalized for the company's busy schedule during summer months? Isn't this surge in demand predictable? Couldn't they plan accordingly? We had the option to choose another brand, but we preferred Samsung. Now we regret that decision.
