Today, August 6, 2025, I visited the Popeyes branch in the Fethiye Erasta Mall. I didn't have my glasses with me, and because I'm nearsighted, I couldn't order via the smartwatch. Since I'd previously paid with a credit card at the cash register at your branch, I tried to order again via the cash register. However, the employee told me that card payments could only be made via the smartwatch, while cash orders were accepted via the cash register. Despite having previously paid with a card at that counter, I remained silent. I explained that I could pay cash and then tried to order via the cash register. This time, the employee refused to help, saying, "We've been closed for 15 minutes. We can't take orders from this counter. Just try the screen." Despite explaining my vision problem and the fact that I couldn't use the screen, the employee simply smiled and ignored me instead of helping. I then tried to place my order by asking another customer for assistance. However, interestingly, just 6-7 minutes later, the same employee was back at the counter taking orders. So, the cash register I was told was "closed" continued to operate. While reporting the situation to the manager, I witnessed employees laughing in the back. This behavior is condescending and unprofessional, completely disregarding customer satisfaction. I cannot accept that such disrespect and arbitrary practices occur at a corporate brand like Popeyes. As someone with vision impairment, encountering such a disregarded and incomprehensible approach was both upsetting and offensive. I request that the necessary investigation be conducted, that the necessary warnings be issued to prevent similar situations from happening to other customers, and that information be provided regarding the process. (I recall the employee's name being Erva, but since I informed the branch manager, he would know which employees they were; he could easily be identified from the security camera footage.)
